1000 litres donated to Nightingale Hospital

OrcaGel donates to London’s NHS Nightingale Hospital to assist fight against Covid-19

OrcaGel have donated 1,000 litres of hand sanitising gel, along with the first 10 OrcaGel Sanitising Stations off the production line, to London’s new field hospital.

The Nightingale Hospital is Britain’s first temporary, Coronavirus field hospital. It’s been built within the ExCel Arena in the capital’s Docklands area, in order to treat 4,000 Covid-19 sufferers who are in need of intensive care. With 500 beds already in place, there’s space for a further 3,500. The hospital will be operational by the end of this week (first week in April 2020).

OrcaGel Director, Doug Cowie, said: “It feels great to do our bit to help our brave and caring NHS staff, who are working tirelessly around the clock to save lives.”

We wish our very best to all those involved with the creation and operation of The Nightingale Hospital as they undertake the daily fight against this global pandemic.
